Muram Bacare

Business Development Manager

As the Business Development Manager at Studio Luz, Muram strategizes ways of generating growth and expanding our impact. Muram proposes and develops strategic partnerships, maintains current client relations, and conducts potential lead correspondence. At Studio Luz she has established a client relationship management tool that centralizes our data and enhances our marketing automation.

Muram brings persuasive business acumen and entrepreneurial experience through her completion of the Harvard Business School Core program where she earned the Credential of Readiness in Financial Accounting, Business Analytics, and Economics for Managers. She has also participated as a finalist in the Fulbright Canada Post Covid Challenge and the MIT Falling Walls Lab Competition where she competed for venture capital and presented her research, business model, and designs in front a global audience and a distinguished jury from academia and business. In addition to business development and entrepreneurship, Muram is also passionate about affordable housing. Prior to joining Studio Luz, she worked with the City of Boston as a Housing Innovation Lab Fellow where she created an inventory of carriage house typologies throughout the city and engaged with homeowners who are interested in creating additional dwelling units in their existing exterior structure. She also developed a workbook that outlines a step-by-step guide into the process of creating an ADU so as to lessen the barriers of entry into the ADU 2.0 Program and to contribute to affordable housing options across the city.

Muram received her Bachelor of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and is currently pursuing her masters in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies with her younger sisters and taking them to museums.
