Taylor Tocci

Architect + Project Manager

As a Project Architect and Manager at Studio Luz, Taylor seeks to make good design available to everyone by creating spaces that are accessible, affordable, approachable, buildable, and profitable. Her practical, hands-on background gives her the ability to take designs from conception to reality, achieving buildings that live and breathe, that can be used to support life, and that are lasting contributions to our communities.

At Studio Luz, she leads the design and construction administration of public facility projects, details multi-family projects, and supports institutional work. With each new project, she leverages a diverse range of experience, including off-site modular construction, LEED Platinum certification, design-build housing for the US Army Corps of Engineers, project management and MEP coordination. She has experience in multi-family housing, single family homes, adaptive reuse, retail, and higher education.

With an undergraduate degree in philosophy, Taylor went on to earn a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas focusing on design-build project delivery. She is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts and has over six years of experience in construction, making her uniquely qualified to understand the project life-cycle from start to finish. Outside the office, you can find Taylor walking with her family in the Arboretum, renovating her 100 year-old house, or exploring the White Mountains.
