Project Overview
The new residential construction is a modest and modern single family house that situated in Boston’s dynamic Jamaica Plain neighborhood. The design team took on the challenge of working with the existing features of the house and respecting the historical context of Eliot Street with a new modern addition while also providing a vibrant modern facade aesthetic to reflect the diversity of its neighbors.

The design team took on the challenge of respecting the historical monument square by blending the front entrance with its context while providing a vibrant facade aesthetic.

The new residential construction is a modest and modern 1180 square feet home attached to an existing single family residence.

FOSSIL FUEL FREE, PHOTOVOLTAIC, WIND ENERGY
The home utilizes photovoltaic solar and wind source electrical services, energy recovery for lighting and appliances as well as water collection for outdoor irrigation.
