DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT

BEER HALL, EVENT SPACE & MORE

Flexibility was a core principle during the design process. The public beer hall can be divided into a private event room by closing a large, bi-fold door.

SALVAGED MATERIALS

RECLAIMED OAK & SALVAGED BUTTERNUT

Bars and tables are topped with salvaged live-edge Vermont butternut, while the floors are made from reclaimed oak planks.

CELEBRATING THE BREWING PROCESS

INSIDER-EXPERIENCE

Exposed pipework, stainless steel storage vats, and bottling lines create an insider-experience for guests taking tours, enjoying a pint at the main bar, or filling a growler at an array of taps.

About the Beer Hall

In the Seaport District

The Harpoon Brewery Visitors Center encompasses a beer hall, touring area, retail outlet, and event hall with panoramic views of the city of Boston. The space invites visitors to observe the brewing process while simultaneously creating a warm and dynamic community gathering space. An expansive bar in the main hall creates a focal gathering point. By closing a large, bi-fold door, a private event room emerges off the main hall. Finishes and lighting speak to Harpoon’s New England pedigree. Bars and tables are topped with salvaged live-edge Vermont butternut, while the floors are made from reclaimed oak planks. Glass walls in the interior let visitors in on the many processes that go into crafting beer. Stainless steel exposed pipework, storage vats, and bottling lines animate the insider experience for visitors waiting for tours and for guests just enjoying a drink at the main bar, or filling a growler at an array of taps.
